The districts of Pallars, Alta Ribagorça and Val d’Aran share one of the most valued treasures of the Pyrenees, the Aigüestortes i Llac de Sant Maurici National Park. Exploring these landscapes has always been a priority aim for mountain lovers, and precisely because of this, to make crossings and ascents easier, the refuges were created In time, refuges have been key in the development of the area as service facilities over the years that have become part of the landscape.
Not all the refuges are the same or offer the same services: some have electricity, others have solar panels, some have access for vehicles and others don’t; so these and other different features make it necessary to adapt to its particularities and learn in advance about the services.
